I had been working in the garden center at Dillons since April. Over all, it was such a wonderful experience! It reminded me of when I used to manage a greenhouse many, many years ago. But just like way back then, I knew it was for only a short season. Then, on Wednesday June 18, I was told it was the end of the road for the greenhouse. The season was over, the greenhouse came down, the garden center was done. I was a little surprised that I got a lump in my throat as I walked away from the garden center for the last time.
After all, it's just a job, right???
